When an RFQ contains sensitive information, buyers can require suppliers to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before accessing the full request details. NDAs are configured at the company level by your administrator.
During RFQ creation, you can enable the NDA requirement and configure:
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| NDA Type | Unilateral (one-way) or Bilateral (mutual) |
| Language | English or French |
When enabled, suppliers cannot view the full RFQ details until they have signed the required NDA. They see a summary of the request but all sensitive content remains locked.
No NDA ➜ NDA Required (lock icon) ➜ Uploaded / Pending ➜ Approved (green unlock) ➜ Full Access
From the RFQ dashboard, click the NDA button to view all invited suppliers and their NDA status: Not signed, Pending (awaiting review), or Approved (full access granted).
Additional buyer actions include uploading a signed NDA on behalf of a supplier and uploading a Final Executed NDA (countersigned copy) during the approval step.
Suppliers see a lock icon next to RFQs requiring an NDA. After downloading, signing, and uploading the NDA through the portal, the status changes to Pending. Once approved by the buyer, the lock turns green and full access is granted.
