Teams in Axya control which RFQs, Purchase Orders, and Parts each user can see. By assigning users to teams, you ensure everyone has focused visibility into their own scope of work.
- Focused visibility — Users see only their team's requests and orders, reducing noise
- Activity categorization — Team assignments feed into analytics and reporting
- Multi-division support — Users working across divisions can belong to teams in multiple companies
- Department alignment — Organize by department, division, product line, or any grouping that fits your organization
- Navigate to your Company Profile settings (click your avatar → Company Profile).
- Go to the Teams section.
- Click Add Team.
- Enter a team name and save.
Teams are visible across the organization — all admins can view and manage them.
- From your home page, click your company logo.
- Select the Members tab.
- Choose the desired member, then click the Team tab on the right.
- Select the appropriate team from the options available for your company.
Tip: Users can also set their own team from Profile Settings if allowed by your admin configuration.
Need a new team? If you need to create a new team, contact Axya at customerservice@axya.co and the team will be added for you.
If your organization has multiple divisions or companies in Axya, users can belong to teams in each:
- Each company has its own set of teams
- When switching companies, the Team View filter shows only transactions from teams in the currently selected company
- Permissions and visibility are scoped per company
Once teams are configured, team filters appear throughout the platform:
- Requests page — Filter RFQs by team to see only your group's requests
- Orders page — Filter POs by team
- Parts Catalog — Filter parts by team
- Analytics — View metrics scoped to your team's activity
- Notification center — Receive notifications relevant to your team

Note: Being added as a collaborator on a specific RFQ or PO overrides team visibility — you'll see that item even if it belongs to another team.
